     According to obit, a short funeral service was held at the home of G. W. Baker, Rev. Grant Johnson of the Loami M. E. Church officiating. According to Mrs. Berbaum's notes, he was a banker who originally lived 4 miles south of Loami before moving to Kansas. In the 1880 Sangamon County Census, he is listed as a widower, living with son Wheeler Hall.
