Individual Note:
     An email from Mr. Dodd to Bill Hall (4/2002): I retired from the USAF in 1975 after some 30 years in the military. WWII with Army paratroops in the Pacific. AF flight training in 1948 and served mostly in the southern and western part of the US, with tours across the Atlantic and Pacific. The last overseas was a tour in Viet Nam flying the F-100 jet fighter.
I moved to Alaska in 1998 with a couple of friends, just for one final adventure in the last frontier. Wasilla is in the Matanuska valley about 40 miles from Anchorage. The Mat-Su valley is where the federals brought in the homesteaders back in the 30s when the country was trying to recover from the depression.
My two daughters still live and work in the Denver area, and neither have ever been married or had children.
