Individual Note: According to the Early Settlers of Sangamon County, John and Lydia Workman had 22 children, nearly all boys. The entire family was quite large and all became Mormons. They moved through Sangamon County to Nauvoo, IL and many on to Salt Lake City, where several became preachers and missionaries.
